I am considering selling a PTC site I own, which is growing very rapidly.
It has over 6000 members, but is growing at a rate of 300-500 new members EVERY DAY, so will soon pass the magic 10k mark! Additionally, the site is custom coded and is unique from other PTC sites.
At the moment income is $5-$20 per day ($150-$600 per month) but payouts are $15-$30 each day. HOWEVER, I have recently sent lots of cash outs and at the moment there are not many opportunities for members to earn lots (see below).
The current daily income can easily be increased, and just by doing one thing on the site will probably increase by at least $4 a day (likely will be $8-$15 a day extra though). There is a good reason I am not currently doing this thing (!) which I will explain to interested buyers.
I would like to keep the potential sale quiet if possible, at least for the time being. If I receive an acceptable offer though the sale will be announced formally.
I'm selling because I don't think I will be able to cope with the growth. I am currently in a situation where I won't have much free time for the next 3-6 weeks, and it is best I am not worrying about running a website of this size. I estimate in a couple of weeks there will be over 10k members.
I don't want to sell, but feel I may have to.
