For some reason it is, I tried it as a nonmember and I get 240, the same thing you just mentioned above. However, if you go to the section "portfolio appraisal" as I did and type the domain name, you'll get 3,800. Now you could only go to the "portfolio appraisal" section if you are a member - you can be a free member with limited access as I am. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GET. why are you appraising one domain as a portfolio ? Sorry but I limit my memberships for various reasons. One is the number of usernames and passwords needed, and another is I dont like having Windows remember them for security reasons.

Unfortunately it shows $0 for this domain now, but the Portfolio appraisal is really meant for portfolios, it is not optimized for single domains. The more domain names, the more accurate it is. It's at its best with minimum hundreds of names.


2) the single appraisal says $240 which I think is a fair estimate

3) There are 240 exact Google searches for [conditioner shampoo], I don't know where you got the 85,000 figure from. (The fact that the number is the same as the estibot appraisal is a coincidence)

...and 4) it's not a bad name, it's meaningful and does have some search popularity - its value largely depends on type-in traffic, but it's in the high $xx low $xxx reseller region and some end user could pay low $x,xxx but finding such end users is notoriously hard.

Thanks, that has been a long-time bug since I've started - there were people saying I was making up numbers and I figured out that the portfolio appraisal was different than the single appraisal - I may not know about domains (like they say), but I do know what I see); Thanks for fixing that and thanks always for BELIEVING IN ME):

Ok - I was using this tool, both the google traffic estimator and keywords, but never knew what numbers to look for. I got 260 on the exact average search volume: Looks something like this:

260

So I guess 240 or more on the exact search volume is ok. I didn't know that "exact term" and "exact search" were different and "exact search" being more popular. Thanks a lot for the info.

Re: the bug, no problem. I didn't check it yet, but I will and if it doesn't work, you'll be the first to know): 240 for the single appraisal and the same 240 for the portfolio - that's a weird coincidence - might be my lucky number this week. I'll have to run and play it!

I can't understand all these discussions regarding estibot value... Estibot appraisal means nothing.
And this domain has 170-390 in Exact Mode not 85,000. And all other tld are available.
However it has an high avg ppc, and much more searches in phrase mode. I think the right price can be decided after publishing a minisite and see what happens...
Under $100 for me.
