The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. After a very unusual week last week when the normally dominant .coms had only four entries on our all extension Top 20 Sales Chart, the .coms re-asserted themselves this week, taking six of the top seven spots and a dozen places overall. Perennially popular short .coms accounted for the three biggest sales. Still, the ccTLDs, who piled up an unprecedented 13 chart entries last week, continued to show strength with 7 more this week. The non .com gTLDs were limited to just one entry but it was an impressive new gTLD sale. You can get all of the details here: http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2016/20161228.htm

Great piece of business by the buyer. The ROI on that is going to be insane. In a few years I could see that going for 30X the initial investment.
