After .coms went on a rampage, sweeping 19 of 20 entries on our all extension Top 20 Sales Chart the previous week, the ccTLDs bounced back this past week, piling up 6 chart entries, including the week's biggest sale - one that ranks as the 5th biggest ccTLD sale so far this year. Bad news or good news? How to interprete it? A new way to play lottery? Buy a ccTLD and wait until you hit the jackpot? Obviously they were key names but perhaps we are facing a new era in the domain market tendencies specially on emergent economy countries such a Brazil. Are emergent economies using the Internet more heaily than before creating an all new market of opportunities for domainers? Is this a new age to invest on these domains? I would love to have all the answers but the only way to discover is researching, learning and of course trial and error.
