Hi friends,

last year when dot company domains just launched, I, for fun and testing, registered some names by using the established company names.

For example,

CIBC.Company (a bank based in Canada)
Springer.Company (an academic publisher)

Is there any legal issue to own and trade these names? Like trademark issue?

Can I outreach these companies and try to sell the name to them?

Or, maybe best to withdraw these names.

Any suggestions?

Lol... dude, registering TM names of banks "for fun" is like saying "I go around picking fights with biggest baddest nightclub bouncers, for fun" :) - hardly the kinda entertainment I would call fun:xf.grin:

Like @gilescoley suggested, prob best to drop these names like a hot potatoe
