I needed to find some decent dropped domains, so developed some scripts which seem to work well, but they find too many domains! (for instance, at the moment my database has nearly 3000 recently dropped domains that have pages in google, and pages in wayback, and are available to register)

So Iv'e developed a simple web interface to my database, and a site to go around it, which I'm making available on a subscription basis. It's very simple visually buy functionally very (ajax) heavy, and perhaps a little slow because of database access, however it does a lot ...

(btw the scrolling div headers don't size correctly in Firefox , a css problem??)

Any comments would be most welcome http://www.dropdoctor.com

(the domain list is delivered by ajax, it may take a few seconds to load, please be patient)

The only thing i can say about your site is that you need an webdesign , the current one is too simple, too basic , and the colours don`t match . Good work on seting the site but you need to work more on the design .

Best regards,
Iulian

Hi Iulian, Thanks for taking a look, I'm sure you're right, it would be better with a natty logo and a unified colour scheme, probably some different fonts. I am artistically challenged to the utmost degree, and will probably have to hire someone to work on that aspect once I'm totally happy with the functionality, which is what I'm initially going for. But... does it make any real difference for this type of site, serious question, A better look may improve initial perception and encourage users to look further, or they may just ask what does it do for me? I'm not sure I totally agree that too simple is a bad thing, it's not intended as art but a tool... Simple and obvious can be better at exposing the functionality rather than hide it... Opinions anyone?

Functionality wise - great script. Everything looks good in the center, i'd leave that as is, but the "wrapper" is ... well...90'ish?
Get a designer on board, my personal recommendation would be to contact "Hive" here on NP, he's a reliable UI designer.
Once that's in place, you should have a great project on your hands that only needs SEO and advertising done. Very nice work from the standpoint of functionality.
