Hello NamePros,

We'd like to introduce Binomus (binomus.com) to the NamePros community.

Binomus is a domain registrar offering .com, .net, and .org registrations at $4.49 — no volume caps, no first-year-only pricing. The rate applies to every registration, whether it's your first or your hundredth.

A few things worth noting:

  • The entire platform is custom-built from the ground up. We don't rely on third-party reseller panels, which means faster iteration and full control over the user experience.
  • We're a new platform. Rather than positioning ourselves as a finished product, we're launching with a strong core — domain search, registration, and management — and building outward from there.
  • We're actively looking for feedback. We believe the best way to build a registrar people actually want to use is to listen to the people who use registrars every day.

Our goal is straightforward: make domain registration more accessible without the hidden fees and upsell patterns that have become the industry norm.

If you have questions about pricing, supported TLDs, or how the platform works, we're happy to answer them here.

28/03/2026:
General update: We've activated 1 automated worker for domain registration. It's still not quite as fast as you'd like, but registrations are now processed in an automated registration queue. After initial testing, we'll activate more simultaneous workers to improve speed.

29/03/2026:
We have integrated and activated the WHOIS verification process. You can now verify your WHOIS profile in the dashboard using your contact email address. After this process, the frequently asked question about incorrect WHOIS country will be resolved, and the information you entered will be displayed.

Can you provide proof that it's a scam?
Hello everyone,
I’m a bit skeptical, but also genuinely interested in this new registrar. Not that I necessarily need another account, but at around one-third the price of GoDaddy’s Disaster Domain Discount Club, it’s hard not to take a closer look.
That said, I do have some concerns. I’ve been saying for a while that GoDaddy’s direction doesn’t feel sustainable to me—even back when the stock was hitting all-time highs, it seemed like the strategy leaned too heavily on pricing tactics like the Domain Discount Club instead of building long-term value. With newer, more agile companies entering the space, it’s becoming harder for legacy players to simply outspend or acquire their way out of trouble. If that trend continues, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them gradually lose relevance—going the same way as MySpace rather than keeping pace with where the industry is heading.
I also think their handling of Afternic hasn’t helped matters. The nameserver requirements, in particular, feel like a bit of a catch-22 ultimatum—forcing users into a narrow path that doesn’t work for everyone. Changes like that, along with the broader listing restrictions introduced under Paul Nicks, created unnecessary friction and didn’t exactly inspire confidence among long-time users.
Putting that aside, I’m curious about real-world experience with this new registry. Has anyone here successfully registered domains with them yet? How flexible and reliable are their nameserver settings and overall management tools?
Would appreciate any honest feedback—I’m all ears.

Hi, thanks for the info so far.

Before I proceed further I just want to clarify a few things for safety and transparency.
  • Are you operating as a reseller? If yes, through which accredited registrar (like Wild West Domains, Enom, ResellerClub, Spaceship, etc.)?
  • Which registrar actually holds the domains on backend (sponsoring registrar in WHOIS)?
  • Are you using a single provider or multiple upstream sources?
Also a few more things:
  • Why some registrations are showing pending instead of instant? At what point domain is actually secured?
  • Will users get full control like Auth/EPP code and easy transfer anytime?
  • In case your platform goes down under which registrar domains will remain and how users can access them?
  • Also one more thing I noticed your main domain is registered under Spaceship. Just wanted to understand as a registrar/reseller why not under your own setup or primary backend provider? Is Spaceship your main upstream or just used for domain registration separately?
  • Are you using any white label reseller setup or custom storefront connected to a provider? Or are you using something like WHMCS with a third-party registrar module (Enom, ResellerClub, OpenSRS, etc.)?
Just doing proper due diligence before scaling usage.

Looking forward to your response

While Binomus itself is a new product, APRYCO is not a new company. We've been building and operating web infrastructure products with paying clients at scale. We're not new to running production systems — we're new to the registrar space specifically.

@Binomus You mentioned that APRYCO LLC is not a new company but from what I can see on the Delaware registry it appears to be registered on Feb 17th 2026 using registered agent service offered by LEGALINC CORPORATE SERVICES INC at legalinc.com

Just wanted to clarify this part because i just checked it at below:

You need an account just to see the front door?

I understand that they are based in Turkey and recently registered their LLC last month with Delaware but along with that I also noticed missing things like clear legal pages and security signals which are quite important. Just ran a report at scamadviser.com

Using basic email with spaceship

Requiring signup just to access basic interface is not ideal, especially for a registrar-level platform. Usually users should be able to review features and trust signals before creating an account.

Along with that I also noticed a few things:
  • No clear privacy policy or refund terms visible
  • Basic email setup (Spaceship MX) without proper DMARC
  • Low trust signals on third-party checks
  • Missing security features like 2FA
  • Some inconsistencies in WHOIS / backend

After creating an account still no information available see below:

Also your Delaware LLC's main website and apryco.com currently have very limited information which makes it difficult to assess trust and transparency.

I understand this is a new platform but these are important trust and security factors for users. Not saying anything negative just trying to understand if these are still under development or part of current setup.

@Binomus Looking forward to your clarification on these points as well. Thank you

Hi @Binomus, I hope you all collecting all the information requested fron some users, meanwhile, 'cause silence is not a good move to trust anyone when it comes with such specific and detailed requests.

@Binomus Are you a high quality register and can you explain why domains disappear for other people?

@DomainArmer, Thank you! We're not ICANN accredited — we operate as a registrar through accredited registry partners. No plans for direct accreditation at this stage, but it's something we may revisit as we scale.

@Cheetahs, Yes, WHOIS privacy is included free with every domain. The $4.49 rate currently applies to new registrations. Inbound transfers are on our roadmap and coming soon.
"The only way a registrar can work without being icann accredited is if they resell from another registrar." @Binomus Who do you resell for?

@jasong83, We apologize for the delays. These issues can occur because our domain registration process is currently a manual process. We understand the inconvenience this is causing and are working to automate and speed up the process.

Additionally, the issue of your domains not appearing in the dashboard is due to a minor authorization problem. Essentially, the token is expiring on the backend, and this isn't reflected on the frontend. You can access your domains by logging out and logging back into the panel.

@Joe drake, Appreciate the thoughtful take. To answer the technical side: nameserver management is fully flexible — customers can set custom nameservers or use our hosted DNS. Transfer locks and auth codes are accessible directly from the panel.

@Daniel Owens, Domain names have not been lost; we clearly explained the source of the problem in our previous message. This is due to a simple UI error, which we will fix in the next update.

We would also like to point out that all operations after registration (NS update, DNS management, transfer lock, transfer code, etc.) are completely automatic and instantaneous.

You cancelled two of my domains but nothing was refunded to my balance or card. Why were they cancelled in the first place? I want to use your service but this just all seems too weird.
