.com is the diamond of all extensions and the diamond is known as the king of all precious gemstones.

.com is even the king - diamond.
But .top is the top - diamond.

This leads to massive increases in price, which opens up opportunities for alternative products. As domainers we can decide which area of specialisation we want to adopt. Right or wrong, it's our decision. My personal view about top domains is that I don't understand how to use them, so I ignore them. That's possibly a limitation on my part, but I'm already having problems because I have too many .coms for me to handle, so I don't want to get involved in a new area.

Interesting that Domain Illumninati's brother disagrees that .top is the best extension.

True, we do not agree here.
Actually I am in wonder about it - but on the other side I am absolutely convinced that the mentioned domain will forward to a (specific) .top domain (I can't post it here but I think everybody knows which domain I mean) at some point in the future because I am sure that he (and many others) will change his viewww

Because also - or especially - kings focus the top at the end.

All I see is preaching .top over the last couple years, but no reported sales to spotlight the preaching.

Please give us some of your "top" sales....

If, then I will do so @ the right time - but primarily my focus lays just on one mega .top sale.

Midasplayer owns the .com
King.top appears to be unregistered, but available for $7541.70
A Canadian own the .net
The .org is private, and the site times out for me
United online owns the US
the co.uk is owner by King Media Services - that looks like the only sensible use.

I got bored at this point. btw king.com looks as if it is promoting "Shuffle Cats". Based on this lot, I'm not sure that I want to be king.

As long as I live in the awarenes that everything is always just the current situation which can change immediately, there is no real problem for me.

.com is king but as it is an abbrevation and therefore a "half word" which you also can read a 'zom', it can remind to the term "zombie".

.top is not king but top and no abbrevation and a whole word which you can only read as "top", it can only remind to the term "top".

That being said I think that DOMAIN ILLUMINATI, just like Hunter S Thompson invented his own brand of journalism, Gonzo Journalism, came up with his own domaining style, Shroomaining. A shroomainer invests in creative out of the box thinking domain ideas and can grab a large quantity of unique domains for a low price. The only downside of shroomaining is that it is hard to unload your investments since you need to find an end-user who is on the same drugs as you are.

Actually Verisign is the king. .com is just one of it's libaries, and it lets you rent some of the books.

you are right, lets stop them from making stupid mistake, but trust me been there done and that, everyone who get into domaining new, they always will not believe you and they will think you are telling them not to buy because you will buy it yourself.

But once they learn after couple of years, then they will be here come to this thread many threads like these before and say - .Com is the king hahaa

Let me tell you that this is not true.
The truth is, that nothing than "GOD" can be "GOD" - otherwise he would not be "GOD".
The "term" "GOD" is a "synonyme" for "GOD" who can't be understood.

.com is king.

.top is not king - because it is higher than the / every king because it is (at) the top and everything is under the top.

Only "GOD" is "above (not wordley meant) the top" and therefore "above everything" ("everywhere" @ the same moment) because the top is above everything except the top.

At least that's my cognition.
