1and1? I prefer to save my time and to preserve the nerves
I dropped one domain 4y ago, they stll try to charge for renewal price.

No, I transferred my 5 domains with auth code, no hassle for me.. (You should disable auto renew, because their renewal price is so high)

It's worth to save 1/4 .co transfer cost compare to other companies. JMO.

despite all horror stories about 1&1 the discounts seem tempting so I'll consider!

You can try at GD with $2.99. when you transfer for 2 years or more then 1st year price $2.99 Additional years $29.99
