Also the renewal fee for .co's is still expensive when you have a portofolio. That's why i'm "forced" to flush some of them and generally preserve the ones which have a corespondent a developed .com with a decent amount of traffic.I don't mind to hold them for a couple of years till i can sell it at a decent price but in the meantime i need to see which are productive on parking.

I own few .co and I never tough that it can be a typo of the com.
I've registered them to make money on the sale. I think that people registering .co to make a parking income should waste their money elsewhere. .com is the typo of .co and not the opposite.

I like your optimism and if this idea will become widely accepted by everybody an historical thing will gonna happen :)

That's delusional, wishful thinking. .COM is 20+ years old - do you think that kind of nearly worldwide acceptance happens overnight? No.

Good, one-word names in .CO stand a chance, but nothing can compete with the stability and recognition of a .COM (or, in most non-US countries, the respective ccTLD).

It's only 3 years old. (In use before that, but mean this time around).

I'm heavily invested in .CO. But don't delude yourself into thinking it is better than .COM, especially with gTLDs and .co.com coming out.

I dropped shores.co a few months ago, i don't think this extension is worth investing in.

.co.uk will turn into .uk.
.co.com worth nothing to my eyes.

.co is what .com should of be from the start..
I like it shorter. .co is a no no-brainer vs .clothing (Laught)

.com will stay stronger than .co but .co will kick other gltds ass. It makes sens to me. it can be used all around the world and the Shorter the Better!

I'm kinda wondering the story behind LittleCaesars.co. If it wasn't sold by a cybersquatter, how the hell did it cost more than $50?

I am more surprised that a misspelled word (cupon.co) went for 11,000.

Indeed cupon.co was highly overpriced, personally i didn't even register it if it was free right now because it's not clean and on very rare occasions i take domains with the maximum misspell "Z" at the end but that word must be very short and highly popular.\

Many times i'm a bit confused when i see sales like this and i wonder why people would pay for such a...\

Well. It was my sale and I am glad I didn't realize it was a "typo" ;) If I did, I wouldn't have bought this domain in the first place :) And I am glad, the buyer did't realize how "badly" this word was "misspelled". Otherwise he wouldn't have paid so much ;)

Lets admit it though, Cupon.co is a very lucky sale, especially at that price and its a typo...I mean, I can assure you that most experienced domainers if they saw that name right now, would not hand reg that name as you would have to be extremely lucky to ever get 2 sales like that

Having said that, Congrats on the sale Oppinus, everyone loves hearing about sales like that

Oh, come on, gilescoley! You seem not to have very good opinion about the education of "most experienced domainers" ;) Do you count yourself to them?
