Well, it seems like Colombia will be releasing .CO to the internet market:

This could truly be a big competitor to .COM (especially being a "typo").
I would say with proper guidance .CO could REALLY have a bright future!

I've had some minor successes selling .co names (single and two word emds) both direct and in auction over the last year and a half. Nothing to write home about, but worth my time.

I'm not a huge fan of the extension, but my preference lies strongly towards category killers if I'm going to consider picking up anything new.

I think the outcome of an auction I am running at Sedo for ArtificialIntelligence.co right now will dictate whether or not .co holds my interest moving forward. While long, the strength of the keyword pair is undeniable: 165,000 exact mo searches, $1.90 CPC. Not to mention that artificial intelligence companies are all over the news lately - every day either Apple or Google seems to be buying one. Its a $36 billion dollar industry. If I can't get anyone interested in this one, I think I may move on.

had them on auction here lately for $150 a piece start price.. but no one bid. oh well.. I'll renew them for one more year then see where that gets me. cheers.

Well as I've said in prior dot co posts my biggest hand reg sale was winecellars.co at us$3299 so its always been my favorite extension.

I feel confident co will increase in interest and value in time as its a a great extension and with China into domains big time its a nobrainer since dot coms are so pricey.

Just don't give them away too cheap!

it's not possible to predict what is gonna happen in one year... Only thing that makes this market safe is domains are registered for 1 year at least.. But how the things will go with renewals it's unknown.

I got kenpo.co (as in the Japanese martial arts). The word 'kenpo' is taken in all other major extensions. Estibot gives it a value of $650 but I believe it could be more. Anyone care to give their opinion of the worth of this domain?

why is a darn .co 3-4 times the price of .com anyway? to renew.. or reg for that matter.

I handregged my four, 8 months back for $8 a piece at namecheap promo.. there were so many 3l.co left back then that one could literally pick stuff that was more or less pronouncable... like lyz.co for example.. the thought never even crossed my mind to pick gds or something along those lines.. . which I think fetched mid xxxx
