ok I know there's restrictions on registration of .cn but what if I buy one through an auction I'm I safe doing that?
So I'm thinking about registering a .cn domain. Is any english word followed by .cn good for the chinese market? Sorry for being ignorant but I dont understand if chinese people use chinese characters or roman alphabet for domains.
The Chinese prefer numbers, then pinyin, then Roman alphabet, very little interest in Chinese characters. And short is preferred.
English words can be OK if relevant if it's a foreign company wanting to promote their product/ service back to their home country, travel related for instance.
So how would something like "virtualreality.cn" work for example? Is that good for the chinese market? (that one is taken)
Is .cn still THE extension to use? I read about two other extensions that used chinese characters. Dot Chinese Online (.在线) and Dot Chinese Website (.中文网)? What is the best extension to get and why?
hello, I think it is a good idea to register .cn domain name for the Chinese market ! Most chinese people are used to visiting websites by type in roman alphabet, and Chinese customers have more familiar and intimacy feeling for .CN domains names when they visit your websites. So I'm thinking about registering a .cn domain. Is any english word followed by .cn good for the chinese market? Sorry for being ignorant but I dont understand if chinese people use chinese characters or roman alphabet for domains.
