Anyone stupid enough to pay $25K for this name deserves what they get. Still a perfectly adequate and average name.

All Im saying is what I think it is worth to someone, Im not saying they arent an idiot to pay that figure

I certainly wouldnt pay what I appraised it at if I was starting a cloud company, I would find a better brandable name.

Why not list it for auction with a reserve price

You wont get the best price sending this to auction, you have to wait for someone who wants it to come knocking. How many cloud companies/startups would see this name if it on auction at Sedo/Godaddy etc......absolutely 0?? Patience is key with names like this.....just hold onto it

Thats because they are not end-users bidding, most will be resellers

I put CloudCo.com on auction a few years back and it had a high bid of $120, 2 years later an end-user emailed me and it sold for $8500

You will never get what the domain is worth by sending it to auction

It lasted under 2 days with TWO people here knowing about it valuing it over $5K and not bidding even $1?
Not even a single "Great Name, mate" , "Yeah, Cloud is in man" set of comments.

There might be a few end-users but obviously not the ones that really want the name if you have contacted them by email/phone etc

If you hold a name like that, you will eventually get a start-up or existing cloud company that will offer a decent amount because they have come actively looking for a name

I mean how do you get cloud companies you have emailed to come and bid high on a name, when they probably aren't even looking for a name and you certainly ant know of any start-ups looking for name

Thats why I am saying, just sitting on the name and waiting for them to come to you is the only option if you want to get top dollar for your name

Just my opinion guys
