I know namepros is loaded with talented designers so i'm giving it a try!

Type of Contest : Logo
Prize : $60
Contest End Date & Time : Tuesday, August 30, 2016 @ 7:00 PM EST
Size Requirements : Will need various sizes for marketing material so must look great in all sizes. It must especially look great on a website. A more horizontal design preferred.
Color Requirements : I don't have any preference so please be creative!

General Requirements : I honestly don't have any specific design in mind. So I'm banking on your creativity. The logo name is: GOTbrands. Design can be with or without the .com. I want the "GOT" to stand out somehow. The company invents, buy, sells and develop brandable domain names for startups. So the design should not only look great but also fit the idea. You may incorporate a unigue icon into the design but it has to be original and not something i can buy on a stock website.

Preferences: I prefer designs that looks original down to the text, if you have skills in illustrating or drawing. make sure the "GOT" stands out because it really carries the name.

Additional Information : Please do NOT post the name of the business in this thread as I don't want the search engines indexing the name for this contest. I will be giving feedback throughout the time.

I was looking out for your next design. I like your designs; feels like you are getting closer to something.
The "GOT" is quite cool. But it just feels like it can be developed more, atleast the idea.

You designs are on my shortlist also. If any new designs or evolution of the current design comes to mind- I look forward to seeing it!!

Also keep in mind, I like the designs Horizontal so to fit easily on a page header.. Unless the design is crazy brilliant I would let it work either way.

Can you make the second design(purple hue color), have a shape behind the "GOT". Similar to how the first design looks? Maybe make the sizing similar too. The background could be a nice looking light grey or another color of your choice that you think works.
The brands can be capitalized or singular.

Nice creativity for the "O" but it may not work best for the brand. It may fit like a handbag line better or something fashion.

Thanks for designs! I'm not too much looking for that style. "GB" it's nice,but I've had similar designs before.

This is the first logo I have had a challenging time figuring out...I am not sure why..But I am thinking on it.

There must be other creative ways to represent "GOT" or "Brands".. I mean what are brands? How to best illustrate you "got them" in a logo?

"Brands" could be the star of the logo too.

If this was your main company; what would you want it to look like?
What look would the customers identify, enjoy seeing but also trust at the same time?

If you have new concepts or opinions,please feel free to share.

It's a nice design... Thanks. However I don't feel the sense of identity in it. I gave an example of betabrands earlier; even though it used a normal bold font, it still managed to pull off a unique look, because of the design of the "B" and double B's. I think you can pull off more ideas?

Thank you! Even though the crown is commonly used,I like where you are going with it. The custom font is a great start. You have a knack for creating clean looking professional logos..the "brands can be more bold font wise too. I also thank "Brands" could be the star too.. though I've also felt "GOT" should be the highlight. Really anything that comes out great while also capturing the identity of the company well, and also fun to look at and professional.

So if an inspiration comes to you that's unique i would love to see. I also made an independent post in this thread(not a reply), you can look at.

This is an interesting design but i'm not sure what I'm looking at, in the sense of how it shows the brand identity. I just pick up as I'm writing this that the G includes a "check mark" so it's a random dash. I'm however not yet sold on it...You know that feeling when you know something needs more development, even if your not sure exactly what. I will show the "G" though to some people I advice with.

also, i prefer round edges... not crazy round, but not square either.

Do you have any other concepts in mind?

I see alot of creativity and innovation in your designs! however, I prefer round corners over square. I don't feel either is the best look for the brand, but are one the most unique out of the box designers I've seen so far. I would love to see if you can evolve these or come up with any new concepts!

Here is another idea, with the checkmark more obvious, and letter G as an arrow pointing up:
