I know namepros is loaded with talented designers so i'm giving it a try!

Type of Contest : Logo
Prize : $60
Contest End Date & Time : Tuesday, August 30, 2016 @ 7:00 PM EST
Size Requirements : Will need various sizes for marketing material so must look great in all sizes. It must especially look great on a website. A more horizontal design preferred.
Color Requirements : I don't have any preference so please be creative!

General Requirements : I honestly don't have any specific design in mind. So I'm banking on your creativity. The logo name is: GOTbrands. Design can be with or without the .com. I want the "GOT" to stand out somehow. The company invents, buy, sells and develop brandable domain names for startups. So the design should not only look great but also fit the idea. You may incorporate a unigue icon into the design but it has to be original and not something i can buy on a stock website.

Preferences: I prefer designs that looks original down to the text, if you have skills in illustrating or drawing. make sure the "GOT" stands out because it really carries the name.

Additional Information : Please do NOT post the name of the business in this thread as I don't want the search engines indexing the name for this contest. I will be giving feedback throughout the time.

However, I think the "Target" idea is too common and even established. Gotbrands has to be unique and original and fits the idea.

This is a cool design I saw... You don't have to follow it as I like new looks but if you can pull off something this awesome with gotbrands then go for it. It has a innovative colorful look but it still looks professional like a customer can take it seriously.

Interesting design play with "GOT", but I think it may not give off a serious enough look. I guess there is a fine line with a design that is creative but has a strong presence at the same time.

This is an good design! All three color variations. The third one is even more solid because it puts the "GB" within a solid shape, giving it some presence.
The only takeaway is that it looks too similar to a logo I already have. Which I will share here; you may have seen it before.



As beautiful as this logo is, it's also has a "common" "bandwagon" factor similar to UBER, and others. Maybe even too strong or auto like.

Now, your design is a bit softer, because your "GB" is not stiff, it has some curves on it like a beautiful woman.
Similes aside, I think the solid shape background makes a difference. But My concerns are still there.

I will post another simple but unique logo i like too in another post.

Please think over design to see if any other ideas pop up, or other new concepts.

I will keep you on the shortlist!!

I was looking out for your next design. I like your designs; feels like you are getting closer to something.
The "GOT" is quite cool. But it just feels like it can be developed more, atleast the idea.

You designs are on my shortlist also. If any new designs or evolution of the current design comes to mind- I look forward to seeing it!!

Also keep in mind, I like the designs Horizontal so to fit easily on a page header.. Unless the design is crazy brilliant I would let it work either way.

I have share two concepts earlier that looked cool. They are only for guidance as I'm trying to figueout the best look/what i want myself.

This next design is not as colorful, Its fairly simple yet it stands out. Why?

I think it's because domain names represent an online identity. Right?
I like the thickness of the font,(Original fonts are welcomed too/preferred), but what stands out is the simple personalization of the "B". It's not just a nice design..anywhere I see that "B" I know it's betabrands. It goes from a simple plain professional look like name.com to something individual! It's still professional, but the "B" gives it a kick, an "Identity".

Identity is the keyword. It's like throwing a yellow flowers in the middle of a classy but bland room. It's like adding Sriracha hotsauce etc.. to a subway sandwich.

So let these 3 examples inspire you. I like new concepts and personalzation(Identity)
