Client wants internet radio station

Can anybody tell me the best way to make an internet radio broadcast for a client?
He wants to take the music he has made, and broadcast online like a radio station would do. Say he has 100 songs, he just wants to put them in a playlist and have them play in a shuffled order continously, any easy way to do this?
Later on down the road, he might want to do live broadcasts like DJ some tunes online live. Point me in the right direction.

I'm not sure how you install the servers, but thad be your best bet probably.

I'll check it out.

I am guessing there are a few ways to do this, because really all he wants (from my understanding) is a broadcast of his own (DJ style) music on his own website. Similar to a streaming audio that is playing 24 hours a day. So whatever song is playing when you visit the site is what you hear at that moment.

You'll most likely want to set up a shoutcast server.

It's really easy. Just edit a few config variables, upload, and run it.

Then, you can either upload the mp3s and playlist and configure the server to play them, or you can broadcast to the server remotely with winAmp or SAM Broadcaster.

Why not just do the broadcasts as podcasts and then distribute them via their website, iTunes, or a flash mp3 player?
