Christmas Shopping - Online or Offline?

How are you shopping for Christmas this year?

Online - Better prices, more convenience, drop shipped to my door
Offline - I like the atmosphere and Christmas decorations everywhere
I don't shop - It's a season of love not shopping.

but then in Christmas i prefer shopping in offline India...

It depends on what i'm after. :]

If its cheaper in USD then it is in AU i'll buy it or if i don't know where to get it, i'll buy online.

If its close-by i'll go buy from the shops :lol:

I've been doing some shopping online. You can find what you want in stock AND save money.. I rather sleep late than wake up way early in the morning.

i don't know of a place where you can shop for domains but here in our country you can drop by at the office to shop for .ph and .com.ph

that's about it, software, gadgets i purchase online
clothings, shoes, food, offline

I do all my Christmas domain name shopping online. Takes too long to do it offline, in fact, don't know if they still have those forms to fill out :hehe:

Other than that, not doing any Chrsitmas shopping

I tearter on both. Yup fence sitter when it comes to buying christmas gifts. I do like the christmas atmosphere offline, but it would be nice if they put it up day after Thanksgiving and not in August.

The prices online are fabulous though. I split my shopping on and offline.

100% online for me. It's a lot cheaper, the shipping doesn't bother me (unless it's a gift for myself and I want it NOW :hehe, and the things I buy come in brown cardboard boxes -- unmarked most of the time: nobody can see what I bought.

I don't like traditional shopping because all of the people and annoying commercial hype that Christmas has turned into. I'm no fan of traffic and waiting in lines. I'll pay the extra $5 to ship something to my front door than I will to fill up my gas tank to wait in lines of traffic and checkout lanes.

Bah humbug.

Just went to Target this morning. I thought I would do offline shopping. What an experience to tell why I should just go 100% online. Darn consurmerism and all of us who want it at the same time and at the same place.

Ok so I vented. I will most likely be back at it again next Saturday. I already did half of my shopping online and now doing the other half offline. I do have to say I like to touch, feel and smell things. OOOOO!!!!! What does this do? While I touch every button on an electronic item all at once. he he.

i'd say that it depends on what you are buying. for the most part though, i would try to buy online as opposed to offline. it's much more convenient, no traffic, snow, lineups, etc...
