Running a Christmas contest for .tv forum members only.

Submit your christmas related .tv name in this thread..

1st place earns 40 np dollars
2nd place earns 20 np dollars
3rd place earns 10 np dollars (nice gesture by jido)

3 owners of domains-one owner cant take the 1st place, 2nd place...

Contest ends Sunday Morning 12/23/07 at 1159am eastern time.

I will pick 3 judges in .tv forum members & we will all conclude together the top 2 domains.

I will not not be submitting any names to the contest. We all know seasonal holidays really does well and huge traffic....

Microguy had brought up a valid point, and I agree with him.....I thought about this morning but didnt have enough np dollars to go around and didnt want the winners to receive smaller np dollars

Due to contest being out now and want to make this an even playing field nor do i want to change the rules or contests around, an i had donated most of my np dollars to other namepros members and .tv owners as christmas gifts, I think we should do this:

Someone else runs a non-premium category similar to this contest. NOW - i think it would be unfair for 1 domainer to win in this contest and another contest. But thats up to someone else that decides to pick this up..

Now the top 3 of this contest has to be from 3 different owners-not one domain owner can win 2 spots or 3 spots...

Sorry folks and Greg had brought up a very valid point........Greg if you wish to run yours -feel free or someone else. The top 3 names on this contest cannot win the other contest i feel but thats up to you.

Come next year-I will run top 3 names again and someone can pick up the non-premium category.....

Just out of interest, do they have drug/steriod tests in domain name contests? Maybe it should be on the Agenda list for discussions next year.
