Hi all!
Been a while since I posted for an appraisal, but a name i own has had a bit of interest in the light of some new developments so I just wondered what people thought of its value, and how best to monetize the domain if I were to develop it.
The name is CHIPPASSPORT.COM

I have owned it for a while, but the plans have started moving in the UK now, including a feature in todays newspapers (I read it in the sun I am ashamed to say)

Any thoughts will be gratefully received

Hi Chris,

In my opinion, it is too early for this name to explode, it will gain value with time. For instance, if you search "Chip Passport" in Google, you will get only a few thousand results. But, if it finally ends up being a standard (and I think it will) its value might be quite big.

I think you made a good investment. I think you could sell it now to resellers for low to mid $XXX, but in one year or two you can make a big sale. Ah, and if you start to develop something on it NOW (such as info and news about the chip and so on), it will be worth even more. It is up to you!

thanks David, yeah i know- I like a bit of trash in my lunch breaks to stop my head exploding!

Thanks for your comments- I hope you are right, the UK has started implimentation as of now I believe and the system should be complete (i.e. everyone will have a chip passport) by the year 2016!
