Hello.

We're wondering if our domain P.IM is worth something... and if so, to who? We're currently using it for our startup, but we're moving that to another domain. I suspect it's something that's more valuable to startups, but it's also a great domain for a url shortener and for mobile sites so perhaps it's worth something?

Any feedback, thoughts and ideas of price will be gratefully received! :)

1. any PIM soft developer, i.e. essentialpim.com
2. any holder of PIM-named product or company, i.e.
3. Pim is also a name, so you may try to find some domain geek Pim :)

That's great, thank you. We tried poking a few people about 2, but no bites so far. 3 is such an awesome idea... will start trawling for the software developer Pims of this world who have vanity and some money :)

Its worth about the reg-fee you paid for it.

Names like this are usually revolving doors.

After the first year or two of renewals and still no decent offers, the names quickly become a big money pit.

Unless you have a decent development plan, I wouldn't suggest investing in these 1 letter cctld's.

Yeah, that makes sense. Of course, in our case we weren't investing - we had a perfect use for it; I suspect a potential purchaser will be in a similar position. The question is really whether we can find such a purchaser via an auction, or whether the direct channels are ultimately our best bet.

High reg fee makes sense for the market, but not so much for the end user. For them sale process goes more on emotional part than on numbers :)
