Owned this for a while, registered with the intention of developing a stamp collecting community forum. Simply never had the time to do it.

For the purpose you have mentioned the domain name goes perfectly. There are quite many stamp forums around already, but the name is quite good and definitely worth something, do not let it expire. I am not familiar with that niche and cant really give you a price for that.

wouldn't "forum" (singular)be more appropriate than "forums" (plural) when it comes to running a forum?

You can easily set up an overall forum with "sub forums" or boards therein, so technically it could be one forum system with multiple forums for different type of stamp collecting, etc. USA, Europe, old, new, etc.

I would probably say that "stamps" (plural) and "forum" (singular) would be the best match for a collecting hobby, rarely do people say "stamp" unless it is paired with the word "collecting"

I would say it has some value, but the value is in the traffic only and what value they bring, I am sure some people can give you some help in finding ways to develop forums?
