Chinese LLLL.com bubble!?

Is it a somewhat good estimate that
chinese LLLL.com premiums are at at least $1billion value today?
Unlike Number .coms chinese premium LLLL.com boomed in value in a very short period.
Will they hold their value or is it the biggest BUBBLE ever seen in domains?

"SM" is a good phase, the Chinese meaning can be digit （shu ma 数码）, or trade (shang mao 商贸 )，and more good meaning.

“CF” means fortune, treasure (cai fu 财富)

I haven't been following the domaining scene for a couple of years... What's going on with LLLL.com's? What's the median price they go for these days? I've been looking at GoDaddy Auctions and it seems they are all going for $200+, even with non-premium letters.

What are the median prices in the reseller market?

I also noticed numerical domains (5 or 6 digits) fetching high bids... I dropped a lot of those a year or so ago.

Can someone shed some light?

Many of those are western quad-premiums.
Some are pronounceable like Tyki and Huuz.
Last two are vcvc.
A few are puzzling though.

I did not buy. so now I am stuck finding deals for $200-300
and crossin fingers they don't fall below that heheh.

I saw it as a numbers' game; in the greater scheme of things, the number of LLLLs is really quite limited (456,975).

In hindsight, I should have bought more, but that's life...

I missed the first buyout, so when the bubble popped in 2012 (it seems that one large investor was dropping most of his/her Go Daddy LLLL coms), I picked up a lot of cheap BINs, mostly pronounceables and a few CHIPS (not knowing they were chips -- a lot of them begin with W or K).

My favorite one is Lymx because it bridges both East and West (very brandable).

I'm definitely holding this one, unless I get the right offer.



Right now, there seems to be a correction in the LLLL .com market, but I think it will sort out.

LLLLL com is less clear (11,881,376 total and 4,084,101 CHIPs); when the dust settles, the patterns and premiums will rule this category, but the random ones are too difficult to remember and will be cheap or even reg fee.

I remember the times when Q, X, Y, Z were considered bad letters. Many LLLL.coms were selling with notice "No QXYZ". Then I found and bought QXZY.com It's my favourite one. Intersting fact but there are only 256 domains cosisting only of "worst" letters. Moreover there are only 24 LLLL.coms that contain all 4 "worst" letters and I own one of these 24. LOL

Yes, that was mostly 2 weeks ago. Prices have gone up about $150-$200 since then. Only 1 CP under 1800 in the last 4 days according to LLLLSales

Yeah, it is surely better than the first part of Nov

during the last sales report i've seen nice pattern close for less than 4 different letters. Sometimes auctions can provide good deals
