Hi folks, this fundraiser is brought to you by Deet and Angelicus who kindly donated the names I am auctioning off in this thread today, thx guys

Auction is for the LOT of 6 names all at Godaddy.
Auction end date: Wed 26th November 08 12pm GMT
Starting bid is: $10
Increments: $1
Payment: Paypal only

Charity funds raised for will depend on the trader rating of the winning bidder. If the winning bidder has a TR or 20+ then they are welcome to pay the winning bid direct to a children's charity in their country or UNICEF if they so wish. Otherwise the winning bid once received will be donated to a UK based children's charity called http://www.barnardos.org.uk/

Barnardos help children across the UK in many ways regardless of background and any other label you could pin to a child.

As always, if I am the one to make a donation a screenshot of the payment receipt page and a copy of the email sent to me will be kept safe in case a staff member of NP wish to verify the payment at any time. A winning bidder with TR20+ will be trusted as a matter of good will to make the payment on their own if it is their wish to do so.

With the 200 NP$ sent and Iowa sending in a few extra dollars to cover paypal fees it comes to about £15 all together. It doesn't sound like alot but was looking at Barnardos to make the donation and they give a rough idea of what sums they can do what with, you can see it here:

£10 can provide the following:

Could provide emergency food for a family that is staying in temporary accommodation after suffering from domestic violence.

So even though it's not a world changing event, it will make the difference to a few who are suffering in some way. Thanks everyone

Helping just one person should be the goal of everyone who can do so.

Even if it is a few bucks to a local charity, like right now most cities and towns in the USA have a charity that will supply a hot Thanksgiving meal to homeless people.

Myself, I like Toys for Tots because I know that a toy or toys I contribute will actually go to a needy child.
