mobi cms script[available for download ]

Hi All,
I coded a mobi compliant php and mysql based website(who doesn’t these days :) ), and wanted to get your opinion on it.
I can see most of the features at the website itself.
Couple more things, there is an option to DIGG the news, considering that dig is not mobi compliant I might remove it.
If anybody has a digg kind of website but .mobi compliant i will be glad to add a link to your website instead of digg so we can promote .mobi further on.
Since many NamePros members would love to develop their mobi names but have no time to code every page, I am considering to release the MyNu.mobi cms for free, as soon as I finish the backend (I hope to finish be end of the next week).
For now you see the it HERE , as soon as name resolves you will be able to access it at www.mynu.mobi

available for Download . There is a small readme.txt, if you need further explanations PM me or post your questions here.

I am looking to hear some feedbacks on what to improve.

This is not a DRUPAL's mobi script. Please keep your posts topic specific.

If you see a bug running around please PM me first.

Nice :) . I don't want to seem like an arse, but there is already a very powerful CMS that is .mobi compliant - Drupal. The official dev.mobi site also lists Typo3. Good job though.

Thanx for the info.

I visited dev.mobi and it is a bit complicated to get drupal to work for mobiles. I think a simple content management script like the one you are developing is great! I've been searching for something like and have not found anything I liked yet. I'm really looking foward to seeing your finished product. I think if you make it free like you said it will help people like me get our .mobi sites up and running. I know I want to get my sites indexed BEFORE people are aware of .mobi, so I am ahead of the game ;)

I am currently working with a CMS called MODx. I am far from finished implementing it(I'm a programming noob) but it seems like it should work because they sweat the details about standards compliance. I'll report back on it if I am successful.

I am trying to make sure that the website gets not only indexed but move up the ladder. Take a look at this, linky
click at the image. As you see, i am using news title in 3 places, and news text in 2. Almost samething applies to the category name itself. I am pretty sure that it will give you more chances to get indexed by google/yahoo/msn. It does not matter for a search engine if your website .mobi or .com or .net. It just looks for a relevant keyword and subject on that particular page.
I am a newbie in SEO, so I hope somebody corrects me if I am wrong. The cms will be free I am just altering the front end and adding some most needed options to the admin panel. If you want, PM by end of the week, and I will send you the script, if needed I will set it up for you myself. Just do not expect fancy admin panel, for now.

Any CMS can be made .mobi compliant because the display doesn't depend on the script code, but on the template output.

I'm used to coding to W3 standards so making the jump to .mobi standards wasn't difficult.

I like Drupal because it's easy to use, even for beginners. It's also SEO friendly. The sites I have made with Drupal are a perfect 5/5 on the Mobi Ready Test and are indexed by Google and Yahoo!

I saw those instructions. Totally unnecessary in my opinion. You can get a .mobi compliant site with the stock install.

2 karamba:
i am redoing some parts of the script and there is no reason to keep old version up.

2 spietreser:
Thank you. as most of the scripts nowadays all the color/background/link will controlled with css.
there will be 2 versions for front page.
1st) as a regular page with 5(10, up to you) most recent news on the top and then come categories. can be seen at mynu.mobi
2) only categories visible on the front page and then you go by topic, as most .mobi websites do. i will setup a website for this version soon, the name is canadia.mobi. it's not ready yet.

NewYorkBum keep on developing :)
I've wrote some weeks ago to mtld, that there is still no cms for mobi. and that's the problem why it's too less developed sites.
People who don't know xhtml, php and so on, just don't know what to do with their domains.

I enter the http://www.mynu.mobi/download/ page and it shows a directory listing, but with no contents. Can you take a look at this please? I am very interested in any .mobi development resources right now
