Cheapest Domain Names with Nothing Else to Buy

Yahoo seems to be the cheapest at the moment with 2.99 domain names and nothing else you have to buy. Does anyone else even come close at the moment? I know dotster just recently had a $1 domain offer that lasted for only 1 hour. But, how about any new domain promotions that you would like to share? Please don't post any that you have to buy something else in order to get the deal.

I generally use the godaddy "loopholes", as Godaddy is my preferred registrar. I have tried Yahoo Domains, and I do not like the control panel. It's too simplistic.

I get email with deals 2 times a week from GoDaddy.
Domainsite is one of the best for the bucks, $6.95 for coms,
$1.95 for info.
I've got around 40 domains at Network Solutions or NetSol that
I pay $8.25 per domain either new or renewel.

bottom feeding is dangerous to your health..it is worth noting that regging with a bad registrar will drive the resale value of your domain down and in some cases worthless.

I tried, I don't have an account there, and when I searched for an available name, it hung then crashed, now says name is gone. So I couldn't even
get an account there...must be really busy at the moment
