Why aren't you there?

I am not there because every time I try to get in, the applet loads fine but it does not connect to the chat server.
This is the exact error message:

Could not connect to www.cyberoperator.com:8888.

Possible reasons include:

- The chat server system at www.cyberoperator.com is temporarily unavailable.

- Your computer is behind a firewall or proxy server. Please ensure that your firewall permits outgoing TCP connections to www.cyberoperator.com on port 8888.

I am running XP SP2 at the moment. I have never been into NP chat room
