I would be more active in chat but it would be nice to actually see it more "active" in terms of actual chat. I love that it's there but many times I've gone in, seen what looks like 10-15 people or more supposedly in chat, yet no one is there to greet new comers and the convo is non-existent.

Not for my sake, but it would be nice to have people actually ready to chat in the "chat" room.

Must be in there at the wrong times. Its a party in there most of days.

There are several times throughout the day when the chat room does become really slow. I can see where you are coming from. I know I am in there almost all the time these days just so that members have a direct way to get in touch with me should they need to. I am guilty though of not chatting. Im there and working on other things. I will try to pop back more and be more involved. Thanks for the input Dave :tu:

Just my observation.. not placing any blame anywhere.

And yeah, I have left quickly.. normally because I'm on the clock and taking a short break, have to get back to work.

If I come in and say something and don't get any reply in a minute or two (not just from you or NPQueen), I'll usually leave if the chat doesn't seem active.

I don't expect it to be active all the time but when I see a group of names in chat and no one chatting, I expect it would be even more frustrating for someone new to the chat or to the forum.. I often go to chat if I have a specific question hoping someone has a ready answer.

At least we have people in chat here.. many forums never have anyone in chat.. ever.

The reason no one talks is they are shocked by our conversations //5
