Changing domain ownership at Gandi

Recently regged my first cctld at Gandi. I am considering putting it up for auction. However I was reading through the steps (each registrar is a little different), it would take to change ownership/push this cctld domain into another Gandi account. and I read that I have to first contact customer service, then credit my account ($7.00 USD) for a fee, then fill out and submit online request form, and then send a fax to France containing my proof of ID (im from USA) -- this is all required before I can change ownership of the domain and push it over to another Gandi account.

Sounds like a complicated drawn out process. Anyone ever go through all of this at Gandi? How long would all this take before I can push the domain to the person who bought it from me? I dont want to keep a buyer in limbo for too long of a time just waiting for all this to clear and be approved.

I have used Namecheap, Namesilo and Name.com to push domains with just a few clicks.

Thanks!

How did you reg an .fr domain if you're from US?
do you have EU citizenship?

and, yes, .fr domains have an added procedure if the ownership changes (plus a fee)

its not a .fr domain. Customer support said I need to send a fax to their headquarters, which is located in France.

just wondering how long this all takes to complete so I can give a potential buyer a heads up after they purchase the domain.

ah, my mistake then, my apologies

it's been 2-3 years since I had an ownership change using Gandi and, frankly, I remember nothing, sorry man :/
