Change DNS in manage.snapnames.com cost $1,000?

Hi, I have few domains which brought from private sellers in Snapnames.com. I found that when I tried to change DNS in manage.snapnames.com, it would cost like crazy $1,000. I do not think anyone gonna pay this money.

Either with me, I transfer to another registrar cost $6-7 for it. By the way, do you guys have better way to manage domain after brought from snapnames.com?

Seriously?

The Greed marches on.

What an all-time low!

Wait the mandatory sixty days and transfer out.

Sheesh!

I have come across this type of problem when buying through snapnames. Some of the more obscure registrars charge anything from $50 - $1000 to change the DNS! I usually transfer out as soon as I can but it's very frustrating not being able to monetize or collect traffic data while you wait.

I have many domains in manage.snapnames.com, and it costs nothing to change the name servers. How did you get the $1000 fee?

- Go to your domain management
- Click "Domain Registration"
- Then "Modify Name Server"

Free :)

Good Luck :tu:

Its Free to change the nameservers at manage.snapnames.com

If you're buying them to park you can also set the default nameserver (for names you win) in the snapnames control panel so it is done automatically at the new registrar.

Log in to snapnames

> My Account

> Registration Info

> Scroll to the bottom of the page

> set your nameservers and click SUBMIT

..saves a bit of time

Wow, thanks guys, it's work!

Do not need to transfer to another registrar, waste my money anymore.

You can't renew the domain by credit card so you may want to transfer it out before renewal, they only accept PayPal as far as I remember

Thanks for this info, greatly appreciated.......I had previously been going into the "Manage" area associated with each domain. This is where it takes you to the registrar where some are charging extortiate prices to change the DNS.
I feel kinda foolish that I didn't know that the nameservers could be changed via the registration info @ snap! :red:
