Well it does say on the site that there is a time limit, five years.

I think I remember hearing about this on the radio.. only they were explaining why cell phone companies cannot disclose your number and possible ways they (the cell phone company) could possibly get customers to opt-in to releasing the information to telemarketers. THey would do this through the use of special offers, incentives, etc.
