Any comments out there on CDROM dot mobi?

At SEDO I see the following posted:

At Afternic I see the following posted:

similar to .info or .tv, .mobi domains have to have some relevance to the mobile network to really have inherant value.

It could be marketed as a site to buy cdroms via your mobile, but that is not likely. CDs.mobi would have a bit more value as a mobile commerce site.

I do like the name too. In virtually any other dot common I would have gone with a 5 - 6 figure appraisal but mobi?... that's a toughy. At least mid $xxx range for now.

Relevance to extension is a questionmark in my mind, although not as much as in some people's eyes. Pure plays matching name with extension are obvious winners - "smoke 'em if you got 'em". Other names just take more a little effort to market but can still be successful to use if developed ... or sold to make a few $$$ if acquired at the right price.
