Hey,

Here's the thing,
I applied for a course at college, there was a few problems with the course, and it keeps getting more and more delayed (This is at college.)

Things arn't looking too good.
So, i though i would take alook at other options which are available to me.

So, i want a IT job, graphic design, or software programming, something around that area.

I would try my luck at those courses at college, but they started about a month ago, while the course i was going to do hasn't start at all yet.

I'm 16, Sixth Form has started, so that and university has being ruled out as a option, which i don't really mind, as i wasn't wanting to go into sixth form, or univertisty. Mainly college.

The way it's turning out, i don't think i'm going to be getting the IT course, or the first course i applied for at all.

So, does anyone have anyideas where i can get on with learing software programming, or progressing in graphic design etc?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I know there are some online courses you can take that will get you certified in various fields. My university offers some online courses in a wide range of things like PHP, HTML and so on to CISCO: CCNA, A+ certification, and so on.

Something like that may work for you.

Go to Frontline: http://www.fte.com/sta01.asp
Buy their serialtest protocol analyzer (its a couple of hundred dollars)
and use it to teach yourself TCP/IP.

Go to http://www.freescale.com and buy one of their Microcomputer
Evaluation Kits and use it to teach yourself assembly language
programming.
