Ok, this might sound stupid but I (unlike my other family members) want to go to college so I can make good use of my life. The problem is is that my family doesn't have that much money. I would try scholarships but I am just no good at anything and therefore I don't how much I would be able to get if I was good at something. So my question is, does anyone know of a good internet project that could help me raise money for college? You know like milliondollarhomepage.com. The thing that I am most interested in is science. I have plans to become an astrophysist, but because my family doesn't have that much money, I fear that my dream of becoming an astrophysist gets father and father away each day. So if you have any ideas please post them here and/or PM me. I would really appreciate your guys' help.

Thanks

Check out the help wanted section. Also, if you are in the US you can apply to FAFSA and if your family is under the salary range you can get free money for college. Also, you can find part-time work at the college/university you will be attending which you can do your school work the same time you are working.

Hey Joe

There are a lot of Grants and scholarships out there that go unclaimed every year because people simply do not apply for them. You can get them for just about anything you can do. Type in "Student Grants" into Google and a bunch of stuff will come up. It is a lot of paper work to fill out, but you can always get more than one to help cover the expenses. I wish you the very best of luck no matter which route you take and I am proud of you for making the effort to find a way to put yourself thru school!! :D

Definitely go the FAFSA route - just Google it to find out more. Check the college/university that you want to attend as well for any possible scholarships.

Although I did not use it, I heard a lot about http://www.fastweb.com/

Goodluck with your pursuit of going to school, it will pay off!

Thats a good site and has alot of info. They will even email you new ones and tell you when datelines are coming up. If you are in the US with decent grades look for help from your state. I know Florida has a program called Bright Future that will pay about 75% sometimes 100%. You can always do the first 2 years at a community college and then transfer to another college to finish. I think its great that you are going to go to college!
