Career Choices

Hey All

I'm starting to think of a career that I would want to participate in the future (about 10 years or so).

I am more interestedin the bussiness/Tech side. But Also enjoy the medical side. If there is a career that mixes both it would be really quite useful. Somehting liek Bioengineering I guess.

Also ive read about a type of engineering that studys animals and trys to duplicate it with technology. (Fish gills, ect.)

so basically my questions are...

What types of Careers would you reccomend?

What sort of Careers do you predict will be booming?

Hmm... you have the exact same interests (medicine + business) as me. I'm thinking of starting my own business and expanding it. I do think being a doctor/surgeon would be a great job since you can save lives and you get paid well, but it's a lot of work and only a select few actually become doctors, even less who actually get any fame.

You might want to give biotechnology or biochemistry a try. They involve medicine, business and also genetic. Lots of biochem graduates work in pharmaceutical companies. There are many upcoming careers that I foresee will be around for quite some years due to rapid demands from people like me and you when we're getting older. Nonetheless, I will say if you want to enjoy your job, go for something not only for the money, but also something you really have interest in.

Ive Read about a feild called BIomimetics... andy work/know about it?
