Can't login via home connection

well i logged on today, tried to get onto namepros and got a dirty big cannot connect from firefox i also get it for afew other sites, right now i'm sadly on a proxy, can anyone give me any advice to fixing my problem?

Might want to check your firewall to make sure its not blocking any websites

rebooted my modem and whole connection via the modem settings, works fine,
