Can't add addon domains ?

In one of my hosting accounts. When I try to add an addon domain I get this error msg

There was a problem creating the addondomain,

Error from park wrapper: Using nameservers with the following IPs: xxx.72.203.178,xxx72.203.177 Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

Nameservers are pointed to server correctly.

Anyone know whats wrong with the server or account ?

Hello there.

Was the domain name previously parked at Whypark.com?
I had a simmilar problem with a domain name. I changed the Nameservers; but the previous owner had the domain parked at Whypark, and the only way it could be freed up was for the previous owner to delete the name from his Whypark account.
I don't know the reason for this; but you may have something like it happening to you.

Did you previously update the nameservers recently? The old ones may still be cached.

Otherwise, talk to your host. There is an easy and quick way to bypass this with access to the root WHM account.

Well I d contacted them and was told they are working on the prb... Not very convincing answer since I have had this prb for like 5 days now.

Its been days since I ve updated nameservers.

From Hosting providers side, what would be the reason for this ?

Already change DNS and moved some domains to different hosting account and its working.

Crazytech is right, your host should be able to sort this out for you as it a simple option in their control panel. The nameservers don't really need to be changed before setting up the addon domain.

Are the old data in the A records? Perhaps you need top clear that first?

Where is the domain registered at?

You need to be specific cause something might be wrong with the dns on the registrars side and not the hosting. If you have it pointed to another host and have no problems, then the domain sounds like it might be added to the server already and you need your host to delete it and you add it. Very unusual for this to happen but I guess it could happen.
