Hello,

I know you can not transfer domains within the first 60 days of registration or transfer. If I find some good names and want to auction them at Sedo, etc, should I wait for 60 days before listing them?

If yes, then how can a person go about selling newly registered names?

Thanks,
ez

It's no problem - you can go ahead and list your domains while they're in the 60-day lock period.

This is on the Sedo help site:
" Yes, a domain can still be sold and transferred during the 60-day registrar lock. However, the domain cannot be transferred to an account outside of your registrar. The buyer must create an account at the seller’s registrar, allowing an internal account change or push to occur. A push is when the seller uses the buyer’s registrar account login name to move the domain away from his own.

If a push is not possible at the seller’s registrar, the domain can still be sold, but the transfer will be postponed.

Sedo encourages listing domains that may be subject to this 60-day lock and will help facilitate the transfer process if a Sales Agreement is reached."

Good luck with your listing! :tu:
