Hi all, Several days ago, I cut and pasted some domains from my hosting account to a parking account. I found a domain name [in the parking account] that I was not sure if I owned it, but it did look familiar, as it followed the theme of some of my domains. Checked the who is not mine, private reg.

Question is, how did it appear in my parking account, any theories, thx co2

:hi:

Perhaps you used to own it (including having it parked) ... and then forgot about it and allowed it to expire (in which then someone else - currently in Whois as a "private registration" - grabbed it)?

Do the Whois dates ... provide any further clues? :gl:
Seems a mystery, IMHO.

I have on an occasion or two had a domain show up in my parking account that belonged to someone else. Being the honest sort that I am, I notified customer support and it was moved out.

Don't know why it happened, though.

Perhaps it was pushed into the wrong account, can happen, especially if you need a username for a push like at namecheap.
