In trying to understand the drop name process, and how a name can be aquired, I am trying to figure out in its rather tricky configuration how a Snap names or Pool can stake claim before it even drops.
Take for instance a name I am trying to aquire, a .com with back links, a nice page rank and alexa ranking. Not the big Leagues but a step in the right direction. Found the name through a software, back ordered it on Go Daddy, and realized on closer inspection it was registered by Joker.com in Germany. The name will expire on the 4th of September. Snap names already has it logged for an auction/register now. Is this normal protocol?
I realize it is easier to aquire a name that will drop from Godaddys pool, than back order a name that was registered elsewhere. I get the impressiona snapnames can be very aggressive in cornering a name before it even drops.
I feel like I am in the ring with a bunch of Sumo Wrestlers.
