Can not access DomainTools, what could be the alternative?

Don't know what is the reason but I could not reach Domaintools.com from my city from 3 days ago.

Though there have hundress sites provide Whois lookup service, I don't find anyone as good as DomainTools.

Plz suggest me the alternative if you know, thanks a lot!

You can try http://www.dnsstuff.com/

Or go to opendns.com and change your dns settings to the one which opendns gives.
Then i think you will be able to access domaintools.
It looks like your isp's dns cache is old.

actually it`s has been down and up and down again in the last few days for many people around the world.

I always wonder how they can be the only one to offer the domain history tool......how come no one else?

It has also been functioning slowly for about two weeks as well.

Great...and I think it`s bloody expensive for what it offers.

How come no one offers domain history for free? What does it take for large Registrars?

if this will help you in any way try using domaintools.com on any random web proxy they can function but are pretty slow but does the trick for that quickie searches.
