Can I sell domain immediately after purchase?

Today I bought my first domain via godaddy

Can I sell it immediately? Or there is a law against that ??

Yes, you can resell.

Though if I ran the world, I would make it a law one can not resell a domain withing 5 years of purchase.

The buyer has to accept the newly reg name in a godaddy account. After 60 day it can be push to other registers

should be a law.

a law against newbies thinking they can just register a name in the morning and sell it in the afternoon.


buying and selling domain names ain't like buying and selling weed, criz-zack or heir-ron.

where you got customers waiting on you to re-up.

not that i know bout that, just sayin



with domain names

you gotta go out and find a customer or wait for the right customer to find you


in between all that, and if you do manage to snag a potential buyer... do ya know how much to ask for your newly registered domain name?

quickest i ever sold a name after
"registration" was 30 days.

but who knows, maybe you'll get lucky.

what i wrote was two sentences.

the first means yes you can as long as the buyer will keep the name at godaddy.

The second sentence means if the buyer will not use godaddy, then you have to wait 60 days
