.ca question

Hello,

I have been trying to purchase a 2 character .ca for quite some time - and have heard mixed stories on whether this was possible - I have not been able to find a registrar that would do it - so, I was about to give up. However, I recently contacted CIRA, and received this response..

Customer Support Comments:
As per CIRA’ policies rule and procedures, domain names can be registered with characters ranging from two to fifty. You can verify if the desired domain name is available by visiting our website at www.cira.ca and using the whois function.

Anyone know which registrar would allow me to act on this?

Basically anyone would be valuable because in a couple years .ca will be more popular and more scarce.

I would love to register some .CA domains,are there any registrars that act as your "canadian prescence" so that someone in the US can register one? I remember hearing of something like that before but don't remember the details.Any help would be appreciated.

.ca has started accepting registration since yr 2000. So it's been awhile and I can understand that all 2 letter .ca are all gone. Hehe..
