BuyNames dropcatching

I have noticed on what few backorders I have that Snap or Pool don't have in their list are quickly being grabbed by BuyDomains.

I have noted that they are using a variety of registrars so the registrant is buydomains but the registrar seems to be different most of the time, generally small ones I never heard of (their own registrars?).

While I am unaffected because they are clowns, has anyone else noticed this activity from them? Have they always been using this automated muti-registrar distributive snapping process to grab small semi-worthless domains?

Is their goal in life to simply own every domain that has ever been?

As their name says - they buy domains As far as I remember they always acted that way.

They dropcatch many domains daily. They own several registrars and use other registrars as well like Dynadot, Fabulous etc.

If they don't Outbid you at an auction service, they are grabbing drops that were not backordered.

Just one more person to beat out!
