Buyer Contact Leaves before offer on one word .com

Just got an email from a guy on a one word...here is how it went..

Buyer: Are you interest in selling oneword.com (6 letter one word .com)
I have some clients who are looking to buy this type of domain name, depending on the cost.
Is there an asking price?

Me:
I'm accepting all reasonable offers. I do not reply to lowball offers.
I am also interested in buying names like this if the price is right as you mention.

Buyer: Thanks , i'll likely have to bow out as i'm looking for re-seller pricing.
I will let you know if I come across a name you might be interested in.

notes: landing page has no price...make offer option....no offer was made...this was from a bandbucket knockoff guy...I guess if you email 100 people with low offers and you get even a 1% conversion your doing well.

I'd be tempted to reply with your top price, and leave it at that.
