buydomains.com question...

Hi folks,

I'm interested in buying a .net domain from buydomains.com, which they list at around $500 (which is relatively much lower than 90% of names they have there it seems). However, doing some searching on this forum, they appear not to be negotiable or tend to change prices once you contact them. So I was wondering if anyone knows a good method of getting one of their more competent and reasonable reps to answer my questions via email, instead of someone who just would change the price or something silly. Perhaps they are on NP, or one of you know a specific person?

Thanks :)

I called them once to inquire (research) for a .net (where I owned the .com) they wanted several thousand dollars and I asked them how flexible they tend to be on it? He said they expect to get around 80% of their asking price, which leads me to believe that they expect to negotiate. The other interesting thing is that once I inquired about the domain name and did not respond to their offer, they sent me a notice letting me know for a short time only I could have the domain name for 20% off. I suspect you should be able to negotiate with them, and I cant imagine they will jack up the current listed price. You should be able to get the name at around $400. Good luck!
