True, there are enough people on this board who forked over 10k in annual premiums and a few in mid xx,xxx to high xx,xxx in annual premium renewals.

This auction is ripe for these holders of crazy renewals to give the finger to Enom, drop existing portfolios, and pay one off payments for keyword category killers like business, jobs, and geos like japan and germany and stunning two word ll.tvs like re.tv, ca.tv, in.tv, dr.tv.

And then factor in some .com holders who may go after a few to get skin in the game. To these guys 50-100k is peanuts...not saying any name will definately go that high, but at the same time, i dont see why not either.

plus there are many names that are pretty low in the auction at the current time that will quickly climb toward the 10k verification ceiling

Just me, but I don't think now is the time for those folks to be dropping those original premiums.... something has to be coming along the road to allow them to hold onto those names and migrate to the current business model.

What i was trying to say is that buying these names is a good hedge should Enom offer nothing for legacy holders.

So buying these keywords now will still allow them a killer portfolio, and if enom does not play ball, the hefty annual renewal names will drop like hot stones.

Correct, at the specific time that you quoted 2:22 p.m. EST today; total was approx. $44,000 for the 'Top 5' ... of course, this figure (including "Jobs.TV") could go higher up until the auction's conclusion, IMHO.
Caveat: Not all ships will rise on this one occassion (as these are the perceived best of the Premium .TV's presently at Sedo)! :gl:

I think we'll see some mid 5 figure sales ~ 30-50k. I very much doubt 50k-100k is peanuts to anybody in this industry. A 100k sale is pretty unilikely in my opinion. Then again occasionaly an auction can get a real blowout sale, flowers.mobi, camroulette.com, unclesam.com etc.

you have to be additionally credentialed to bid past 10k on sedo. that doesnt gaurantee a sale but it makes it much more likely.

however you should already know this based on your years of experience. why do you constantly pose questions like this when you know the answers if it is not to cast disparagement and foment fud?
