Not sure if you're trying to divert the question or being facetious but there have been several claims of "perks" to insider/favored members. None of these are "perks" in this context. Please don't try to insult the intelligence of the rest of the members of this thread by answering a serious and genuine question like this.
I already stated in a later post that there are no perks.

The only perk I would imagine some sellers receiving would be to waiver the $10 listing fee if they were asked to list a premium name.

Had a couple of names accepted and not that fussed about their pricing and do the much care if my names sit on bb for years and to be fair the ideal buyer will create their own logo

Tell us about them...if you are for real.
Your only activity at namepros is to promote Brandbucket, so I think that you should be reported and admin's should check this out... your place is on the slack channel or you can ask BB to pay for a banner, in this case at least namepros can make some profit from this.

Wrong.

I post on NP to provide value to its users.

Your only luck was that some of the admin's are BB supporters, but I have a feeling that your luck is going to end.

Providing perks to to sellers isn't something new. Do you think to seekers on Afternic, Godaddy or Sedo don't get special treatment? I'm surprised that other sellers here would be surprised. There's nothing inherently wrong with taking care of your best customers or suppliers.

I was only making this point as some of the most vocal supporters failed to disclose that they receive special treatment. That said, I was never ever asked to support or provide positive feedback, just in case anyone thinks I'm inferring anything untoward here.

There's very little transparency, and I think this is part of the culture at Brandbucket at all levels. It's part and parcel of brandable marketplaces perhaps - most prominently displayed by their desire to have buyers think the marketplace owns all the inventory they list.

Are you saying I receive perks or special treatment.

I've no idea what you do or don't get, but you most certainly are not one of the top sellers I'm referring to. Sorry.

You said 'vocal supporters' not 'top sellers'.

Brandworthy is only speculating. He has given zero evidence.

So are you. Unless you're a recipient of the perks, you would not necessarily know for certain that there ARE perks (hence my qualifier about the "rumoured" perks)

Last time I checked my account was in the top 3% of sellers (which I find somewhat strange considering my small portfolio size), but as long as I have been selling with them I was never offered any kinds of perks despite selling well, my price adjustment requests were rejected, and the last time I contacted their management my email was not responded to. The only thing my account has gotten is a "bad standing" handicap, as a result of not breaking any of their rules (prior to those rules being announced), just because they made poor business decisions and decided to make their sellers pay for it, and as a result I do not even have access to the stuff any regular seller has access too. I do not find BB to give their "top" sellers any perks or special treatment at all, so that description does not match my own experience selling with them.

Thanks for sharing.

What year did you open an account with them?

Purely speculation here, but I believe most of the special perks were given to large domain holders in the early days of BB. ie Mass acceptances, and heavily discounted listing fee's, (some free due to voting credits).

Not sure what perks come with a positive relationship with bb anymore, but I believe they (people with insider relations) have the upper hand to having price increases approved, which in turn effect search rankings resulting in higher customer visibility. Not sure anybody has used this to manipulate the reseller market though (thankfully as there was once a time paying 3% accepted price was the norm for reseller market)

I started selling with them in early 2015 and actively added names until late summer/fall 2016.

Not getting perks was never a big problem for me though, and I'd much rather EVERYONE operate on a level playing field (due to the makeup of the marketplace search), especially the management team, as they can too easily abuse the system otherwise. When I was adding names, MK and Margot listed hundreds, if not thousands, of low quality names that did broke with BB's guidelines and would not have been accepted if submitted by a regular seller, while better quality names submitted by regular sellers were often rejected. I think their actions in this aspect showed a disregard for regular sellers who were serious about building a BB portfolio.

And later, they instituted penalties for sellers who broke certain new rules before they created them! Imagine if NP said that bumping a thread is now banned, and then restricted every NP member who bumped a thread in 2003-2016, before they made the rule about it... And while they ludicrously held their sellers "accountable" for actions that they themselves seemed to encourage before, such as the reseller market (I always thought it was a bad idea to allow it in the first place) or removing accepted domains from the to do list, after they realized they had mismanaged the marketplace, they did not hold themselves accountable for various marketplace problems. That was an unwarranted shift of blame toward their sellers, for problems they themselves brought about.

So rather than regular or top sellers getting or not getting perks, I think the management giving themselves too many perks and being negligent with it has been the bigger issue at BB, perks-wise.

Interesting to read that, but I think perhaps you were too late to the game coming along in late 2016. That said you've done very well to get to top 3% in such a short period. I presume you've sold lots of higher priced names there?

Price adjustments I had never considered to be a perk, and in fairness to them they facilitated me doing this in bulk outside of their current interface. I think portfolio size had a larger bearing on a seller's standing than portfolio value - for BB it was always about expanding inventory, and higher quality only came back into vogue this year (lower commissions for high value names).
