I will say that there have been a couple of times when I have forgotten to remove a name from GD Premium, and the name has sold on BB for more than it was listed on GD. Then I go and remove it quickly :)

Very interesting. Imagine if you will the similar scenario in reverse... where it sells on GD Premium. How quickly can we remove names from BB? Are we able to delist them immediately as we are within GD Premium (or are we required to email and wait)?

There is a contractual 30 day waiting period after you contact BB to remove your name.

Well, I've never had a name sell on another platform that was listed on BB ( I generally do a good job of removing them quickly after they are listed on BB). I'm not sure what is in BB terms and conditions about that scenario, but I do know you normally need to give them 30 days to remove it.

It will takes 30 days to be removed after BB receive a formal removal request :xf.cool:

Actually, you are required to be exclusively on BB so the scenario you describe should never happen. I'm not sure how he managed to have his domains listed on GD since BB has an automated monitoring system to make sure that your domains are not listed on any other marketplace. As I recall, if you sold your domain elsewhere you'd still be obligated to pay BB their commission.

They do have an auto monitoring system, but it only checks major sites like Godaddy, AfterNic, SEDO, etc. However I see names all the time that are listed on ebay, boost names, flippa, etc that are also listed on BB. Which i think is wrong... if your gonna agree to a contract... HONOR your contract. HONOR your word. IMO

I sold my first name on Brandbucket (took 5 months) I was paid within 24hrs. It was a hand reg too, not from a droplist or auction. I stopped submitting names 3 months ago, I was waiting for a sale before I regged/submitted more. I currently have 46 names with BB. I haven't sold anything on Namerific or Brandroot yet.

Congrats, Gina. Can you share the name? Will you begin submitting names again now that you have your first sale at BB?

Hi All,

BrandBucket is in their Review Cycle... (right on schedule)

I just had 7 of 15 names Accepted this afternoon. 46% this cycle. Happy 1st day of Spring!.

Coincidentally, all 7 accepts were 6L names. The 8 declines were a blend of 6L, 7L, 8L names that didn't make the cut.

Hope the info is helpful...

-Jim

I also got a response from BrandBucket today, on names I submitted on 05.02 and 09.02. These are the first submissions I have made to BB, and the waiting time was around 6 weeks.

I submitted a total of 18 brandable, and 8 of them got approved. I am planning to list all of them.

Anyone notice that the number of listed names went down from just over 10k to a little over 9k in the past couple of weeks. Looks like they may have cleaned out some names recently.

I got accepted too (from 01.02.). 3 out of 8. Congrats to all for successful submission. Now lets keep finger crossed for future sales.

@ Brandworthy I hope they are really making big sales instead of people leaving them due to no sales . :)

Have a nice weekend.
