.mobi Boredom Bidder Bought Air.MOBI and Dvr.Mobi

Hi guys i just bought air.mobi and dvr.mobi.

Any good??

When you mention Boredom Bidder -- are you implying you placed the bids intentionally because they were below the posted reserves prior to Mtld lowering them?

If so, I suggest you default on payment. Mtld/Sedo have no right to change the reserve halfway through the auction and doing something silly like placing a bid under the posted reserve (no clue why they posted all the reserves ) doesn't mean they can get away with lowering the reserves after telling you that your bid hadn't met the reserve.

no thats not the case i placed the bids intentionally about 1 hr ago. with boredom bidder i am trying to say i have not much knowledge about mobi values at the moment (though i know they arent doing too great) and stumbled over the auction and just placed those 2 bids cause the names sounded decent enough.

so what you guys reckon $1050 for air.mobi and $320 for dvr.mobi are a steal or loss of money??

A loss on AIR at least. Guess you're on the hook then. You can always develop them if/when you get bored again though -- that's one thing .mobi like any other extension is good for :]

DVR should be pretty easy to make your money back on with dev.

I actually think AIR.mobi is a good buy -- it would make a great air travel site of some sort. Think flight schedules, delays, rules, etc.

good to hear. btw air travel is one of my favourite niches.
i just looked them up at estibot and it gives me $29.000 for dvr.mobi (guess its because of the high max. PPC bid) and only $7.600 for air.mobi.

other opinions here?? guess am in the .mobi gang now as well. those are my first 2. LOL

Keep in mind that they have to be developed in the next year or so...

Estibot is WAAYY off for most non-.com extensions and multi-keyword domains. Always best to ask a few knowledgeable domainers versus Estibot. I have nothing against the guy and use his site myself but seriously recommend not making purchases based on automated appraisals -- even Estibot.com recommends that you don't.
