Damn. I just was browsing names at Godaddy.com...low and behold the new worse price: $44.99 That is ALOT!!! :bah:

Unfortunately yes it means the renewel on the GD .tv names IS the same - $44.99. I renewed a few .tv domains at GoDaddy couple of days ago and it was pretty shocking to see the total price, and there was no time to transfer as I had waited till the last minute to renew!!!

Sorry to hear that you got done............I have at least 20 .TV at Godaddy, - how much time must be left on the name in order to transfer??

If anyone can give me any info on how I start the transfer process from this account to Enom.......much appreciated....and does it cost anything to make the transfer??

You should have at least 15 to 30 days Millers you need to get the auth code for each domain then go to ENom and start the transfer process

Doesnt Enom charge $25 just for the transfer??? Effectively making any savings on the GoDAddy renewals pointless?? (Unless you take into consideration more than one years worth of renewals)

And is it true that GoDaddy allows you to push your name for free to a new owner for free who has a GoDaddy account, but Enom charges you $25 for the privililege...........????

I believe if you transfer you extend a year of registration, Pushing at enom is free I have pushed to Atypical and Local Experts

Sorry about my late reply.

I used to transfer my .tv domains from GD to Dotster, and I used to start the process 2 weeks before the expiration date, but in some cases even 10 days would be enough, but no need to risk it. If you eventually plan to transfer all of them, do not wait, and start the process at least 15-30 days before, as EQ stated. Transfer price depends on the pricing strategy of your new registrar. After transfering, you do not need to renew one more year because the cost of transfer also covers the next coming year's renewal fee...

If you do not like ENOM MIllers the price for transfers along with regs and renewals at Moniker is $27.49 you might be able to contact them and let them do the work if it is bulk.
